Figure Sculpture - Human Bodies

Service Description

Explore the expressive power of the human form in clay during this weeklong handbuilding workshop. Designed for all skill levels, this class will guide students through the fundamentals of sculpting the figure—proportions, anatomy, gesture, and form—using approachable ceramic techniques. You'll learn to translate observation and imagination into compelling three-dimensional sculptures, starting with the human figure and expanding into animals, creatures, or abstract forms. Evening sessions offer focused instruction and plenty of hands-on time. Students will also have access to Open Studio hours through July 4 to continue developing their work independently. An optional glazing day on July 19 is available for an additional fee.
