Enhanced Studio Access
Members have access to the studio outside of our normal operating hours, unless other events are planned. (See details below)
Discounts on Classes and Lessons
Members enjoy a 50% discount on private lessons and a 25% discount on 6-week classes.
Clay & Tools
Members are required to purchase clay from Stone Bear Studios. Personal tools are encouraged, but shared studio tools are available.

Members are welcome to use our complimentary photo box with 4 backdrop colors to take high quality pictures of their work.
Free Reclaim Clay
Our members are welcome to use our in-house reclaimed clay at no cost when supplies allow, which is often!

The details
Firing Fees

Bisque and Glaze Firings: $3.50/lb for both bisque and glaze firings.

Glaze Running Fee: $2 per instance of glaze running onto a shelf or cookie (maximum $4 per pot).

Specialty Firings: Additional charges apply for specialty firings; these must be scheduled and approved by studio management.
Studio Rules & Cleaning Expectations

Cleaning: Members must clean their work areas, including wheels, tables, slab rollers, and glaze buckets. Failure to clean up may result in suspension of membership privileges.

Respect for Others: Keep noise levels reasonable, and be considerate of other members and staff.
How to Join

Orientation: All members must complete a mandatory orientation before utilizing the studio. This fee may be waived if you have already attended a 6-week class at Stone Bear Studios. The orientation fee is $75 and includes a 25-pound bag of Buff Reclaim clay.
