Students will be met at their level for individual hands-on instruction.

This service is intended for current students, Independent Artists, and individuals pursuing in-depth instruction. If you are looking for a fun event-type service, please check out our Clay Date availability.

Initial Private Lesson will start with an informal skill level assessment and expectation setting conversation, followed by hands-on instruction for throwing or handbuilding activities.

Firing and glazing for one piece made in your private lesson is included. Additional pieces may be purchased for $20, and we will add handles for you for $5 each if you don't get to it yourself in the class. You may pick one glaze per piece from our collection.

If you book another private lesson that occurs within 1 week of the preceding lesson, we will store each guest's work (up to 8"x18" board's worth of footprint - extra storage may be rented for $20/board) to continue the learning process.
