In this 4-week class, we'll teach your kiddo how to make pottery from start to finish. Our main demos will focus on a small cylinder cup, a mug, a bowl, and a planter, but your imagination is the limit!

Price includes materials, use of tools/equipment, class time, and firing fees.

Kiddos aged 12-17 welcome in this class. If your kiddo is 10 or 11, please book at least one Private Lesson with us in advance — we can make an exception depending on how that goes (adult must be present in Private Lesson).

Here's the schedule:

Week 1: Introductions, tour, beginner wheel demo, throwing time, clean-up demo, clean-up

Week 2: Trimming demos, trimming time, throwing time (throwing review demo, if needed), clean-up

Week 3: Handle-making demo, handle attaching demo, handle-making time, trimming time, handle attaching time, clean-up

Week 4: Introduction to glazing demo, glazing time, clean-up

STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 2:08PM.

Pieces will be completely fired within 2 weeks of our last class. We will send an email once all pieces from our class are finished, and you will have 2 weeks from then to pick them up. If that presents a challenge, feel free to reach out to mgmt@stonebearstudios.com.
