Service Description

In this class, students learn how to throw bowls and cups, trim their work, and glaze each of their handmade pieces. If you are continuing your pottery education with us at Stone Bear Studios (Level 2/Intermediate), and this works best for your schedule, this class is also an excellent choice for you. Classes meet on the following days: 11/8, 11/15, NO CLASS 11/22, 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, Glaze Day 12/20 We cannot guarantee, but will do our best to have all work from this class fired by 12/23. Pottery made in this class will be finished within 2 weeks of glazing day. Pottery will be kept in the studio until 2/03/2024 at which time it will be discarded if left unclaimed. Included in this class: class time, 25# clay, glazing materials and firing costs. Full payment must be made up front. 50% may be refunded if you cancel 24 hours or more in advance of the first meeting of your class. Any unused classes are forfeit and not subject to a refund. Open studio will be offered at a first come, first served basis in time frames when staff is present and wheels are available. Missed classes may be made up between weeks 1-5 during these times. Otherwise there is no guarantee for any missed classes. Classes are open to students 18+ at this time. Youth classes are not yet available. Any questions may be directed to info@stonebearstudios.com
