Service Description

Please note: This class is designed to build upon existing skills and expertise. To fully benefit from this experience, we recommend having a solid foundation in throwing and trimming. We encourage individuals who have completed at least one level 2 course at Stone Bear Studios or a comparable studio to join us. This class will focus on the refinement of form, alteration, and ideas of ceramic design. Handbuilding skills will greatly increase your success in this class. Classes meet on the following days: 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5, Glazing Day 12/12 We cannot guarantee, but will do our best to fire all work from this class by 12/23 Full payment must be made up front. 50% may be refunded if you cancel 24 hours or more in advance of the first meeting of your class. Any unused classes are forfeit and not subject to a refund. Classes are open to students 18+ at this time. Youth classes are not yet available. Pottery made in this class will be finished within 2 weeks of glazing day. Pottery will be kept in the studio until 2/03/2024 at which time it will be discarded if left unclaimed. Included in this class: class time, 25# clay, glazing materials, firing costs, and open studio time. Open studio will be offered at a first come, first served basis in time frames when staff is present and wheels are available. Open Studio schedule will be posted in the studio.
