Service Description

In this class, demos will be focused on intro students learning how to throw bowls and cups, trim their work, and glaze their handmade pieces, but it's open to ALL LEVELS. You may also follow along with some more advanced projects. This class is perfect for you if you're not sure which class you should take! Classes meet on the following days: 7/28, 8/4, 8/11, 8/18, 8/25, Glaze Day 9/7 If you miss a class, we have one back-up trimming day: Saturday, August 31 from 1:30-4pm. Seats are limited, RSVP required. If you miss your Glaze Day, Back-Up Glaze Day is 9/14 from 10a-2pm. Included in this class: class time, 25# clay, glazing materials & firing costs for up to 8 pots (additional pots may be purchased during your week 5 class), and open studio time when available. Pottery made in this class will be finished within 3 weeks of glazing day and will be kept in the studio until 10/26/24 at which time it will be discarded if left unclaimed. Open studio will be offered at a first come, first served basis in time frames when staff is present and wheels are available. Open Studio schedule will be posted in the studio. Missed classes may be made up between weeks 1-5 during these times. Otherwise there is no guarantee for any missed classes. Full payment must be made up front. 50% may be refunded if you cancel 72 hours or more in advance of the first meeting of your class. Any unused classes are forfeit and not subject to a refund.
