Dates/Times: Wednesdays 6-8:30pm - July 9-Aug 27

Price: $495 includes 75# clay and firing of up to 16 pieces. Additional pieces may be fired for $5/lb. 

In this specialty 8-week class, our talented instructor(s) will teach you how to create intentionally matching sets of plates, bowls, cups, and your choice of additional table setting. 

Students are encouraged to come with inspiration for the use of their dishes - what kind of dinner party excites you; will you be serving dim sum, french cuisine, summer salads, grilled cheese and tomato soup? How will that help you to make design decisions in your work?

We'll teach plates, bowls, and cups/mugs, with extra forms decided by the class (think pitcher, teapot, jam jar, creamer/sugar)

Additionally, we will give consideration to how your surface decoration choices will contribute to the 'matchiness' of your body of work. Will you use sgrafitto, underglaze transfers, a simple glaze dip? How will your pieces be aesthetically tied together by color and surface?
